No Account Required

A calorie tracker that doesn't need your email.

Most calorie trackers gate everything behind an account. Forge AI is different: open the app, set your goal, and start logging. No email address. No password. No account. Your core log stays on your device.

Why no account matters

Requiring an account is a friction barrier that exists to serve the app, not the user. Most calorie trackers require sign-up before you can even test whether the habit will stick. Forge AI keeps the beta lightweight: no login, no password, no profile gate.

Your food log, macro targets, weight entries, and workout history are stored locally on your device. AI features send the meal or workout text you submit to Forge AI's backend for estimation, and barcode scans send the barcode number for lookup. Nothing requires a login to access.

Frequently asked questions

Do I really not need an account?

Correct. Forge AI works entirely without an account. Open the app, complete the quick setup (goal, stats, pace), and start tracking immediately.

Where is my data stored?

Your core app data is stored locally on your device using browser storage. AI features process the meal or workout text you submit through Forge AI's backend, and barcode scans use the barcode number to look up packaged foods. If you clear your browser data, your Forge AI data will be cleared too — so treat it like a local app.

Is it free during beta with no account?

Yes. Forge AI is free to try during beta and does not require an account. Optional premium features may be added later.

What if I switch phones?

Since data is stored locally, switching devices means starting fresh. An optional data export is available in the Profile tab so you can back up your logs.
